An in-person whisky tasting at Tangle Creek on Wednesday January 22nd 2025.

Doors open at 6pm, dinner at 7pm

Our expert guest speaker, Will Martin from Noble Spirits, will lead us through a tasting of these exceptional whiskies and share his knowledge and insights for each one.  

First Course 

7 Year Old Hungarian Virgin Oak paired with Cock-a-Leekie Soup

Traditional Scottish soup with rich chicken stock, seasoned with fresh thyme and bay leaves, pulled braised chicken, hardy vegetables including celery, carrots, onions, leeks, prunes and pearl barley  

Second Course 

The Glenallachie 10 Year Old Grattmacco paired with 1 Bite Chicken Braemar

Chicken breast stuffed with crumbled blood sausage, wrapped with bacon sitting on nest of cauliflower mash and finished with a whisky cream sauce  

Third Course 

The Glenallachie 12 Year Old paired with Cali Cut Prime Rib

Cali style cut certified aged prime rib slow roasted and served with traditional neeps and tattties, finished with a pink peppercorn rosemary jus

Epilogue 

The Glenallachie 15 Year Old with Bread Pudding

Toasted assorted breads with whisky infused cranberries and raisins covered with a rich creamy custard baked to golden state topped with a vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg sauce
