Our expert guest speaker, Chris Thompson, will lead us through a tasting of these exceptional whiskies and share his knowledge and insights for each one.
First Course
Foxheart paired with
Smoked Salmon Crostini
Toasted rosemary crostini smothered with bourbon whisky lemon aioli, smoked salmon, pickled red onions and salty capers
Second Course
Confederation Oak paired with
Wagyu Beef Meatloaf
Certified wagyu beef blended with sauteed vegetables and chef spices wrapped in maple bourbon bacon, served with mashed sweet potato swirl, green bean almondine and Forty Creek BBQ sauce drizzle
Third Course
Cherrywood Reserve paired with
Bourbon Poached Peaches
Ontario honey, bourbon whisky, brown sugar and poached peaches on a bed of raspberry crème anglaise topped with a peach sorbet and whisky reduction syrup
Epilogue
A special guest from the Forty Creek vaults.
