An in-person whisky tasting at Tangle Creek on Wednesday May 14th 2025.

Our expert guest speakers, Jack McCreadie from Chivas Brothers with the assistance of Chris Brousseau, will lead us through a tasting of these exceptional whiskies and share their knowledge and insights for each one.  

First Course 

15 Year Old Chivas Regal paired with Spicy Cajun Chicken & Sausage Gumbo

Cajun seasoned chicken thighs with andouille sausage, brown roux, chicken stock, bell peppers celery, onions, fresh bay leaves and thyme, slowly braised to a rich chestnut color and served with white jasmine rice

Second Course 

The Glenlivet 15 Year Old  paired Vegetarian Filipino Lumping Sariwa Crepe Spring Wrap

Savory coconut milk crepe, stuffed with fresh crisp julienne heirloom carrots, acorn squash, purple cabbage, hearts of palm, enoki mushrooms, scallions and pea shoots rolled and topped off with a molasses peanut sauce and roasted peanut crumble

Third Course 

The Glenlivet 18 Year Old paired with Thai Coconut Salmon

Centre cut, Atlantic salmon resting on a coconut milk pea risotto cake, served with candied red beets, and green bean zucchini bundle, topped with a Thai sweet chili sauce 

Epilogue 

The Glenlivet 21 Year Old with Butter Rum Caramel Eggnog Cheesecake

Dark rum caramel with sweet rich eggnog cheesecake finished with cream anglaise sauce, fresh fruit and nutmeg cinnamon dust
